PROAC Crews 2

Position: Crew Leader

Job Duties

PROAC Corporation Crew Leaders perform a wide variety of tasks related to HVAC system maintenance including duct cleaning, air handler maintenance, cooling tower maintenance, and mold remediation. Work is completed at the client’s site and is completed within the client’s time allowances, meaning that weekend, evening, and overnight work are sometimes required. Additionally, the Crew Leader loads and unloads work vehicles and provides maintenance to company-owned equipment. The Crew Leader for PROAC Corporation is responsible for overseeing the Field Technicians assigned to a project and for seeing that the work vehicle is stocked with the proper supplies and equipment to complete the project. The crew leader must be knowledgeable of all Company safety and personnel policies are expected to adhere to these policies and are responsible for enforcement of said policies. The crew leader is responsible for training the Field Technicians on all aspects of the job. The crew leader is expected to complete the vehicle inspection report each day. The Crew Leader is responsible for recordkeeping as it relates to hours worked on the project, for seeing that the project is completed within the timeframes allotted for the project, and for communicating any problems, changes, or findings to the Field Service Supervisor. This position reports to the Field Service Supervisor.

  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems and component parts.
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard mold remediation practices.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of Field Technician experience.
  • Air Systems Cleaning Specialist designation through NADCA.
  • Certified Mold Remediator certification through ACAC

Position: Field Technician

Job Duties:

PROAC Corporation Field Technicians perform a wide variety of tasks related to HVAC system maintenance including duct cleaning, air handler maintenance, and cleaning, cooling tower maintenance, and cleaning and mold remediation. Work is completed at the client’s site and is completed within the client’s time allowances, meaning that weekend, evening, and overnight work are sometimes required. Additionally, the Field Technician loads and unloads work vehicles and provides basic maintenance to company-owned equipment. This position reports to the Crew Leader.

Education/Experience:

  • There are no education/training requirements for this position.
